@DaveyGTi we already have one of the earlier routes that we could re-do, will look quite different with the trees in leaf and grass growing back :)

unfortunately i won’t be ready till at least july time , really sorry, have got all the rear wishbones etc to finish off,

thought i would let u know now out of courtesy so u knew numbers

but don’t forget the piccies plse of the day out and will be a great event when i can come and join u guys
 
Hi DD, about time I showed my face!

Spoke to the garage on Friday; had to do some welding to the foot wells and been delayed by the missing starter ring and flex plate and the hi-lo/diff lock assembly. Now sourced and unless further issues the 90 should be ready by early next week.:D

Of course, now it's a V8 we will have to avoid the mere mention or sight of water :eek:

As it it's an untried (but assured to be sweet) engine I might like to take a week or two settling it in and making sure there are no issues, so the 27th feels better for me but whatever; if I break down there'll be help....With my sensible hat on I should really have stripped it down and checked it doesn't need a rebuild but space, time etc thought I'd just go for it and fingers crossed. I've seen a video of it running, cold and warmed up, and it was sweet and sounded AOK, but still a gamble.:rolleyes:

Landy won't be done by 16th as its still missing flex plate bolts and the tbox bracket doesn't fit and they had to make one. Engine is in so once bolts arrive the gearbox can go in, then it's just exhaust, tranny oil cooler, fuel pump & filter, general wiring, pipe work and fettling - all easier typed than doneo_O. He's on hols from 16th and he'll get as much done as he can and the other guys will have to finish it. Realistically I can't see it ready by the 20th now :( Sorry (again!) 27th might be ok?

Thanks, but stop it with them negative vibes man! I am getting paranoid already....have I done the right thing etc. and the longer it is taking the more I'm worried :rolleyes:
Digits crossed it'll be ready and going for the 27th.......

I can't wait to hear that V8 burbling along the green and pleasant lanes of Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire :)
 
Hi all, is 27th the bank holiday weekend? If so that would prob work for me as I was thinking about heading out that weekend anyway, give me a chance to get my fresh paint mucky!
