Diff pumpkin is limiting factor as it's the lowest point, not 100% on diff height but it's not massive sadly, but thankfully the ruts are not too bad and we don't really get hung up at all.
You wouldn't have liked that first lane we went to go drive, it was really bad, would have been a bit of body damage had we attempted that one! I am planning on revisiting that lane with my pick axe and shovel each night this week to rip up the high spots and fill in the ruts to enable a lot less body damage on the next visit.
Will post piccies as always.
cheers , indeed ref the ground clearance on the diff, was curious in how they compared, know from the sill to the ground it’s 18 inches in extended height on mine but know that’s immaterial
that first lane did indeed look rather tight
will later on invest in some diff guards and skid plates , see there’s also some for the air tank and compressor, both rear silencers i feel are abit low , can look into that at a later date , there are some adjustment brackets to get them tucked up out of the way
looking forward to the pics and sounds like a great plan, shame lanes etc aren’t maintained like they useto be
always remember years ago some cracking lanes at Biggin Hill, alas farmer gated everything , don’t think they were byways because there were still there last year , think some of the pilgrims way are still open but haven’t checked for years
