Lovely job there Mate. I used white spirit to before priming,
Got first top coat on today, going to get another 1 maybe 2 on during the week

Looking great, my first series was Atlantic Green, it’ll be grand when your finished! I didnt have a garage when I did mine so I did the whole thing on a nice day! Still looks fine a year later !

I don't know how you boys manage to get such a good finish with brush and roller. Good on yer. I've tried and it looked like I had put the paint on with a brick. I'm back to spraying now. Well done.

Looking great with the paint on ,how's was the temp gauge when you ran it round the field
Hello Mate, Thanks, did not get to drive around the field, as only got 3 nuts holding each wheel on temporarily but was tempted too, should not be long before I can get it out for a run to test it,
Last time I let it idle it was not as bad, will try again and see if this colder weather makes a differenceas last time it was red hot.

3 coats of primer, Can anyone notice the stupid mistake though?
Forgot to prime the truck cab, painted over the rubber grommets in the wing, painted the galv cappings, caught the edges of the already top coated inner wings?
You can’t say that and then not tell us. Although the fact we can’t obviously spot it means it is probably only noticeable to you.

Yove mentioned things that I had not even noticed  the main thing was painting over the galve cappings so I spent a couple of hours sanding them back again. yes did forget the cab, the sides and roof need sanding to paint in Limestone white.
Second coat 1 more to go.
Still got bonnet and other bits to do yet
