Series 2a rebuild - Ordered new parts for hand brake transmission - full kit including brake shoes, adjuster housing, expander etc.
Fitted new expander and adjuster and then discovered the brake shoes do not fit! I think I have ordered parts for a different gearbox number... but given difficult to understand the numbers stamped on the housing I am not sure! Attached a photo of the number on the housing. Any ideas whether these are for an older series 2a? I have a feeling that I have a gearbox numbered 146000565/156000430 or 151005187 (according to the parts manual.)
If it is an earlier one then I have purchased the wrong shoes but not sure if I can find these now as stockiest only seem to carry newer ones. Any ideas?

Here also the original expander housing (in situ) and the new one - that as you can see is much smaller.
