Just upgraded my glass fuse box to the tdi one and I'm wondering is there a relay holder / bracket that goes with the fuse bracket?

At present my flasher relay is just dangling underneath, but in pictures on t'web I notice what looks like a bracket screwed into the bottom (ooh err)...

Had a look on the workshop diagrams but can't see anything.

Can anyone confirm if this is actually a bracket or are the relays connected individually.

How a bad / complicated or pain in butt is the conversion to do, as i am still on glass fuses but periodically have to blow out with airline and spray with electrical cleaner, normally lose indicators, or wipers.

Have a search on here - there are a few threads. Doesn't look too bad.

It looks like the sockets the relays plug into have a hole that allows a screw to fasten them to the steel panel. Hard to see from the photo, you'll need to take a relay out to get a better look.

If you're using the fuse box (PRC4826) and fuse panel (AMR3138) pictured above - then, the relays are mounted in 5 x interlocking relay bases, which are screwed to the bottom of the fuse panel, as pictured above.

The flasher relay and wiper delay relay (if fitted) mount to 2 x relay bases the fit onto the metal tabs on the back of the fuse panel, as below -

Both types of relay base can be bought from 3-way components, here - http://3waycomponents.co.uk/

They also sell the 20-way blade fuse box and terminals for a lot less than Land Rover, here -

They also sell the fuse box and terminals separately -

ah, thanks guys. makes more sense now. The fusebox shown isn't mine, but I did upgrade to the blade type (it's a very straight forward job), so I only have the flasher relay. The reason I was asking because I'm going to add heated windscreen, heated seats and the intermittent wiper mod etc.

Thanks again.
