bonjour, i can't find the fuse of the alarm on the 2004 freelander1 , i would like to disconnect it, thanks
Hi,

Why in the first place you want to disconnect the alarm. Don’t think a fuse remove will disable It.

You on the fuse box cover, all fuses number are indicated.

Regards

the alarm isn't indicated
last night a wild pig touched the land and the alarm went of, it happends and i don't need the alarm
The alarm is part of the security system, which can't be disabled without T4 diagnostic equipment.

If you lock the car with the key instead of the remote fob then the volume sensing part of the alarm isn't armed.

I guess the pig can't open the doors so that should work !!😀
Actually I'd not thought of that Andy. That is pet mode, so would be the best to use in this instance.

Just touched the "land" and it went off?
We have a place in the Montagne noire (Occitanie) and there are loads of sangliers in the forest around us. They are mostly kept out by the fencing but if they come on the land they don't set our alarms off.
Weird.

But the "use the key to lock it" thing will probably work. (It's in the owners' manual). We have to use in our Disco 2 often because we leave dogs in the car from time to time, like on the overnight ferry.

Ah - I’ve never used the key to lock my FL, but I do sometimes leave the dog I. It whilst I nip into a shop. I just lock it with one press of the remote… I assumed that was some sort of arming with interior sensors or something, she has never set it off like this. Note to self - test the alarm today!

1 press on my remote only unlocks the drivers door, 2 presses opens the rest. Thought it was something like that for locking too, with 1 press just ‘locking’ it, but 2 fully arming it. :(
