Fuel Problem I Think

Right Im Back Il start where I left off, . After been able to prime from cup, I connected pipes back to LP and primed but nothing, I could feel it sucking in and blowing out but No Fuel coming up from tank, In first Pic I took the top hose off as I remember Mick saying to try with just the clear hose pushed on.
Anyway slid the clear hose straight on to LP tube, started hand priming and the bas!!!d fuel started to come through, right I thought Ill put it back on properly , primed again then Nothing,. So pinched another connector off the Disco, the bit that srews in to LP Tube, but left a bit of the plastic pipe on, joined it to my clear plastic just slid it over connected back to LP and fuel primed back through. fired it up and fuel started to run good
Now it does run good but there is still air there, will add couple of vids in a bit. So think it had something to do with this connection Circled in Pic.
Is it Fixed. Not sure but where getting there.

might need a new olive and push it on using the fitting as far as it will go
The one off Disco Seems to have worked James, you might be able to tell better from Vid, just waiting on it to upload from Youtube, Internet slow tonight for some reason.
Will post it up when its done.

Right fires up on the button, and seems to run well, didnt have time to let it run a good while but this is how I left it in Pics, so will see if it has drooped down the tubes anymore tomorrow.
Still air in there but its 99 percent better then is was.

Fuel still in the pipes, apart from this gap in pic, started first turn of the key, ran it for a good half hour revving it in-between and No Bother, that gap has fuel now. Now should I leave these pipes in place ? as don't really want to touch them knowing my track record. If I change them for rubber or plastic Ill probably F!!ck it up again.

Thats what I wanted to hear. Thanks
Coz I aint replacing the LP
Get a facet style electric pump for next time.
My LP sucks through the electric pump(as it’s not switched on & diesel rated)if I need to bleed something I just turn on the pump. If lift pump fails turn on pump ;)
Yes it over thinking something but saves pulling my hair out

Another vote for leaving them in from me :)

Sorry I haven’t been on much since popping up the other day. I’m pleased you have sorted it. I totally missed the connections on the lift pump when we swapped the new one in. I wish we checked mine before fitting yours as mine has the pipes pushed on and done away with the stupid olives and unions.

I still have the clear pipe in kit fuel line, over 12months later. If I remove it, it will be replaced with an inline clear filter. I think being able to see the fuel is a huge help.

Thanks Again Mate, I got a bit off my new Disco. Can I keep your pipes you put on.:)

You sure can, that’s no problem at all. I would remove the one at the fuel sender/pickup though, it’s a bit long for that area.
Which ones that Mate, is it the one coming from the left of the filter to Injection Pump ? Im Frightened to touch the bloody things again.

It’s the one back at the tank, in the rear wheel arch area. It doesn’t “need” removing, but it’s got a bit of extra length on it and would be best if it was removed.
