Fuel magnets - anyone use em?

used to leak electric whenever they got damp.
poxy things...

back in the days a best add on for sparks was a new high output bosh coil,
of if your old car/van was a bastid to start on cold/wet/icy mornings,
I had 2 coils under the bonnit ?
1 was fer normal running,
1 was fer cold non bastid starting ?
just switch the leads over from normal coil to a 10volt one next to it.
when running nicely, stop & change back leads & hey ho orf ya go :crazy_driver:

oh, yes, i did know transits and some other fords had 10volt coils as standard, plus the white ceramic coil wound voltage reducer for the running ignition curcuit.
and yes, you can still buy them, for landies heaters !!! :rolleyes:

also remember spray cans of magic ignition sealer :)
another useless can of crap, as the plastic cote cracked like a behive hair do letting eleccy run out too easily too!

what else can we remember..ah, those little diffusers you put under your carbs, to mix the fuel & air more efficiently.....can remember them disintigrating then being sucked into the round things going up and down at the speed of light fekin the plugs up!

or toilet roll oil filter conversions, so you could run for 1000`s more miles before you change your oil...LOL..as soon as they got wet with oil, they blocked up, starving your engine of oil, and boom....lol

The pros that I can think of are

The Fridge magnet
Speaker magnets for quickly picking up tiny nails you just dropped all over the floor
The Telescopic magnet for oh I just dropped the nut in the engine Crevice
Fish tank algae cleaning magnets + windows
And for the Criminals the undo security tag magnets don't know if you can add to that ??

But what happens when you break down 10 miles later and don't have that all important random tool / spare that you've been keeping in the back for the last 4 years?

best to keep the back filled up and make it to your destination in my opinion!
 
Yeah burrito you're my best customer. In fact - if I sell you a few more, you could sell the extra fuel you generate :)
 
aint someone on here a chemist or summit; he sed the raction happens betterer if they particles of fuel are charged, he also sed it wont impove the reaction enough to improve fuel use......or am i just imagining that?Sure its one of the regulars.

they did this on a episode of mythbusters and it actually reduced MPG on a rolling road, they aslo tried the miracle carb which gives over 200mpg , they got something like 15 LOL !
