Other thing is some injectors need resetting with diagnostics
Is that when they are removed?

Unsure just an idea.
could be worth investigating.
There is 1 pkug but its a solid vonnectikn with no signs of wear etc.Is there any kind of multi pin plug on the wiring loom where you trace all the injector wires down too? Or even at the engines control/ecu module. Then you can backtrack down the loom until you hit a signal for the injectors, then if you've no signal whatsoever anywhere in the wiring it could be from the source?![]()
Don't forget the wire can break inside the plastic sheath so there may be no obvious sign of the break,There is 1 pkug but its a solid vonnectikn with no signs of wear etc.
The wiring is dressed like an entomed mummy, tons of thick tape around it.
will need to strip it back to see if there is anything there.
yea was worried about that one, but cant fathom it as the loom was not touched or moved.Don't forget the wire can break inside the plastic sheath so there may be no obvious sign of the break,
Something couldn't have been connected correctly to blow a main fuse... This could have caused an ecu burnout.yea was worried about that one, but cant fathom it as the loom was not touched or moved.
Just the connectors and injector.
it blew the mega fuse ob the batt when it tried to fire and turn over, since then nothing.
+1^^^^^ new information about the mega fuse, damage is likely.Something couldn't have been connected correctly to blow a main fuse... This could have caused an ecu burnout.
I'd trace the wires and check continuity, if the wires are good including the plugs.
Maybe look at getting the Injection control or engine ecu tested.

It depends on whether the ecu was fried then it won't communicate with diagnostics.Im wondering if ECU has gone bad, would have thought there would hsve been more faults though.

A reverse polarity on the battery can kill an ecu.Possibility, but strange how it would just have gone, how can it just frie?
Apologises , tried to find electrical diagrams, wrong ones , will keeping searching as I thought ur engine was PV8 but that’s the petrol version
How hard is it to remove ur injector loom, lay it out and do a continuity test on the entire loom, also with it out the way to see if there’s anything untoward on the engine with the loom out the way , inc having better access to see with that loom removed
The loom is a bugger of a job to remove!!
Looking at the engine its the left side that was replace!!
I believe the injectors were re-installed correctly, ie replaced into original bank, however cant be sure off it.
as u look at the engine , what side was the manifold replaced please
If the injectors were removed did they go back in the same place
plus assume you’ve also checked all the fuses and that ur battery has the correct voltage
thks
