P38A Fuel filter

Hi folks. I have a p38 4.6 HSE 99-2000. I have a questions... Dose this model have a fuel filter and if dose.... where it is... I can see only evaporizator box no fuel filter anywhere... Can i add if there is no filter or is not necesary???

It surely will have (Ive got a diesel) have you looked under the drivers rear wheel arch? just a thought think thats where the TD5 one is

Hmmmm just did a search on LZ and there isnt one just a in line strainer near the air tank?

On my 98 4.6 it's to the rear of the air tank on the drivers side, as Littlewill says.

No idea if you can add it. I never it empty enough to get any crap near the engine.

My supplier lists a filter for the 4.6 GEMS that is the same as the filter on my classic.# ESR4065G (Genuine Part) My filter is in the wheel arch.

Yes, there's a filter on the GEMS but not on the THOR which is what he has.

I think that is not a good solutions to remove the fuel filter. im thinking to add one.. I dont know how may affect to the entire system but i will do a test... One questions... My fule pump that is on tank is 3.5 bar??? On Gems is 3.5bar i dont know if is the same pressure on Thor to...

There IS a fuel filter on the Thor engined cars. Its part of the fuel pump in the tank. The fuel delivery on 99-2002 Thor engined cars is totally different to the GEMS system.
