Fuel cut off switch

Heya so I've been hunting google and tried looking around LZ and had no look so thought I'd make a thread so here it is

Thinking of fitting a fuel cut off switch to my series once I own it so how is it done, what is needed, and what would be the best place to fit the switch

As it is done as a security measure not many people will want to advise , since the crooks can then do a web search and know what to look for .
What version are you buying ie engine fuel and version as 2.25l diesel only has mechanical fuel stop. 2.25 petrol also has mechanical fuel pump!

Depends what you've got ... Sorry, my Chrystal Ball is currently not working!

If you have a lecky fuel pump no problem, you just put a switch in the line.

If you have a mechy pump, you could think about fitting a solenoid valve in the line.

Well I was thinking of petrol and will be wanting to fit a 200di conversion sometime later on so would I still be able to fit it once the conversion has taken place?

You could stick a solenoid valve in anywhere along the fuel line.
