what have you done to tune it up?

That's nothing, my 2.25 petrol series 3 station wagon gets between 10 and 15 but mostly nearer 10. It used to be worse than that.

My 2.25 Petrol series 3 was never that bad. Although it would go through a noticeable amount of fuel just ticking over, think it ran a bit too rich.

Can't say I've ever been that fussed - somewhere between 28 - 32 on a y2k TD5 depending how it's being abused....! Get about the same from RRS TDV8 ...... ;-) Cheers A
