I get over 30mpg on straight diesel, mainly do 25 mile run twice a day, i sit at 70 on the motorway for half of that. If i take it over 70 its really noticable the difference.
No - spent a fortune on doing it right (oops that will hurt the numbers - best forget that).
Twin tanked so starts on diesel and only goes on SVO when hot, purge at the end.
Bit more to go wrong - leccy fuel pumps etc but all is good.

think i will stick to diesel!
More than I planned ...... £800/900 ..... a lot of diesel.
I can save about £55 a tank using SVO so I reckon two years at current driving before its paid for itself.
Did it to see why so many folk seem to have problems with SVO and I guess its down to them using poor bits and bodges?
