I brought genuine Land Rover front diff mount (as that takes the most stress) and britpart for the sides. :)

Well rain is stopping play at the moment, will have to do the underside tomorrow. Make sure it's dry. May do the stone chips later if it drys up. But need a full day on the underside.

Got the two bits by the doors treated and painted, to stop them rusting out.

After, not perfect but only wanted it protected.

I used poly bushes for mine and they seem fine. No noticeable extra vibration and a lot cheaper. Only issue is the hassle getting the old bushes out of the cradles.

Peel back the wheel arch liners and clean all the mud out, if you haven't already.
Potential rust problem for the sillls.

Just doing the underside tomorrow, then I'm going to order some paint. Remove arch liners and re-paint under them. :)

This is what the wifes was like, bit of a tide mark so must hold some water. Grommet for the sunroof drain blocked too.

Yes, poly bushes in and not really too much grief getting old ones out. Hardest was the front of course which was the totally toasted one as the pictures show. I couldn't remember how to get old out of mounts at first but remembered the joys of my jigsaw and after getting the first one done I was cooking with gas. Just been round the block and the diff is no longer try to get into the back passenger seat. Happy days! And thanks to all the good folk here whose help is priceless I love you guys. In a brotherly way. Not in any other way. Off to Beaulieu Landrover rummage I want more armour to protect my lovely Roary the Hippo

I used a welder to heat the centres up so much the rubber melted and they fell out. A bit of hammering and the old bushes were gone.

I thought about that but the wife has taken away all fire within 40 metres of the house privileges since November 5 and the unfortunate incident with Toastie the cat. But I love that jigsaw; cut a couple of lines
Inside the bush then chisel and ball pein hammer out in 5 mins easy!
Stupid cat.

His name was Frosty before November 5 but a change felt appropriate. More of a dog person myself. And yes, you gtta love blowing stuff up. That's all there is to it. Not cats obviously before anyone goes mental.

Well that the full underside re-undersealed, sub frame, prop etc all painted in satin black chassis paint. And back box painted Matt black with vht paint. :)

Prep was fun, 3 dust pans full lol.

And all done. Should be good for a few years. :)

Hey great job. What is the paint manufacturer and what's it called exactly so I can have a look at getting some. I have a big pot of white Hammerite which I was
given which I was contemplating using. I thought an added advantage would be if I overturned somewhere remote I could be seen by a helicopter. Unless it was snowing of course.

Used hammerite underseal with waxoyl for the chassis, and buzzweld CIO for the sub frames, prop, tie bars, suspension arms etc. And halfords VHT Matt black for the exhaust. :)

Hammerite is OK for sub frame etc, not sure about white though lol.....but like your thinking haha. :D

Also, went to Landy rummage at Beaulieu today. Got an old ammunition box, frog for a bayonet I have, 2 metal signs, series 2 inner wing mud guards and
Freelander 2 flexible roller type load space cover. Which is a shame as I have a Freelander 1 haha.
Quite strange really the stuff at an autojumble.
