We are discussing dates on the West Yorkshire laning thread.

Might make sense for you to join in on there with suggestions :D

These are the trips we need to work around

22nd or 23rd Feb Preparation for Lakes Trip - possible workshop meet

29th February to 2nd March 2014 - Dr Evils Lakes Trip - Lots of Yorkshire folk going on this Provisional Lake District idea 2014

8th March 2014 200 is competing in his first trial - possible trip to provide cheering and support (if he tells us where it is )

9th March 2014 or 15th March (to be decided) 200s extreme Derbyshire trip, will involve Hollingsclough and North Yorkshire laners

BOTH May Bank Holidays have trips planned. No details yet but they can be either for a day or the whole weekend

Why are you all so far away???

I would love to join in but if something broke so far from home
I would be royally ****ed off..

So anyone want to suggest dates

As long as we avoid the ones listed earlier, majority decision will win (as long as the leaders are available) :D

Following on discussion with Freelaner elsewhere (I got into trouble yet again :D)

West Yorkshire Laners are organising a Yorkshire Dales laning trip with a route designed for Freelanders. It misses out known extreme or damaging lanes.

Will be led and supported by experienced laners with recovery equipment (should not be necessary unless I get stuck just to make Freelaner and Hippo happy :D)

So you are all invited along, will be a fun day out :D

The route does pass the end of a few of the more extreme lanes. Some of our members have offered to do tea stops and take anyone interested for a ride down them (in their motors) So anyone wanting to try the 45 degree side tippy bit on Belford can :D:D:D

Anyone interested :D

Where is Belford ?, done most of the lanes in the Dales but haven't heard of that one

I could be interested depending on dates. Got a busy couple of months comming up so if I can make it I will.

You think I would get away with good road tyres or need a/t? I need 2 tyres soon and am unsure about whether to buy 2 new pirellis or 5 new a/t. Obviously a lot of money's worth of difference. I might have to take all my crap out of the boot to make sure I don't bottom out ;)
