Hi everyone - had my landrover at the garage and after being plugged in to the machine the fault code for the EGR value is coming up - so will need to replace the value - anyone else had this done (probably a stupid question ) and does that value explain the symptoms my car has been having?

Sorry blanking plate

The carbon flush you refer too... Do you realise all they are doing is pulsing very small amounts of water into the engine air intake with the engine running? Its a bit like me washing the dishes by flicking water through our letterbox.

If you really want it done i will do it for £50.

If its not broke don't fix it. Hydro flush works on turbos but only if its been done regularly from new. Sounds like someone wants to pay off his new hydro flush machine.

Got the car checked out and a code for the EGR valve came up - so what to do now? Clean - replace - or add some diesel cleaning formula to the fuel? France is getting ever closer - am going to get the codes checked again tomorrow as the garage reset them.

Mine is blanked off and I dont see a huge difference but it seems a bit better.
