Thanks for your responses, Ratty and Nigel.

I've tried on eBay with limited luck. It's hard to get a sense of the condition of the headlights that are currently available for sale.

The new ones seems to be around in the region of at least £125 each for white lights per side, these are genuine Landrover.

I had a poll designed to see if anyone knew of any other aftermarket manufacturers that made Landrover Freelander headlights, or upgrades like what you can get for Audi's/ BMWs etc...

I haven't had much luck on my researches so far, I could be totally over ambitious thinking there's something out there, that I am not aware of, so I thought of asking around in the most appropriate Landrover forum I could find.

Thanks

Have you tried the usual Landy suppliers?

Craddocks? Paddocks? Island4x4? Rimmer brothers etc?

I've tried Craddocks, Paddocks and Riimer Bro's. Island 4x4, I'll try this out and will let you know if I have any luck. Thanks so much for your input Ratty, much appreciated.

Hello again Ratty,

Island 4x4 has adaptive headlights for Freelander 2 models, but not for Freelander 1. They have rear tail lights, bulbs (xenon and halogen), side marker lights etc...

Thanks

if someone on ebay says they are in good condition then they have to be as described, or get your money back.

A pair of oem headlights shouldnt be more than £40 secondhand!

Thanks Bromsgrove. MJA 4x4 does not seem to have an online store, I'll have to call in. Will check with them when I get a chance. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for your response vilguy. I'm a little vary of buying used headlights on eBay, they usually say it's in working order, cosmetic wear tear expected however the pictures usually don't highlight what to expect. Since its shipped to Srilanka, returning to get the money back is a bit of a hassle considering rather expensive shipping.

Thanks for your input though.

if you ask the seller to send you some pictures of them then it shouldnt be a problem. You may find that many sellers wont ship to Srilanka however.

Try adding a "wanted" request on here as some of the freelander people might have some kicking about from having carried out facelift conversions. I threw my headlights away when i did mine!
