Just for fun, I envisaged the sort of LR vehicle that would interest me,
I would base it on the D4 body shell, good size, practical shape.
For power I would like a quality 2.5 litre 4 cylinder common rail diesel with an option of a 3 litre 6 cylinder, much easier to work on than V engines. 140/160bhp would be plenty with lots of low down torque.
Auto transmission rated for at least 30% more torque than the engine maximum with manual shifting user selectable.
Selectable 4WD with proper diff locks on centre and rear, or at the very least Torsen diffs.
EAS but with higher spec valve gear & compressor.
Manual aircon.
ABS that can be switched off when needed.
Wheels with tyres, not the rubber bands that are being fitted to the latest models.
All LED lighting with no ECU's involved.
Rubber flooring in the boot area.
No body off nonsense for maintenance.
No sunroof/s, LR products let more than enough water in without cutting holes in the roof.
No ECU's located on the floor of the cabin.
7 year warrenty like Kia.
That will do for the moment.

Bollocks, you have just wet the bed so had to get out of your w*nking pit.:D:D:D just in time to go on the lash, again

You saying all students are Muslims?. They would never take me alive, and I would send some to Paradise before I go.:) ps. It's now ISIL;)
He signs himself Siv so who knows? The cost of Uni in the UK now is so high that a large proportion of students are from overseas.
Funny how times change, when I was a lad (when Dinosaurs roamed), the academiically gifted could win a scholarship to a top class uni at little financial cost to study something useful. Now for £9k a year you can go to a second rate uni to study some thing useless. Still at least it keeps the youth unemployment figures down:rolleyes:

Think they dug up your pet according to the news today:D Siv may well be a lady. True what you are saying about how things used to be. I would hate to be a youngster in this day and age.:)

Send it to them, God help the poor buggers how desperate must they be. See them on Fuerteventura after trying to make the 50 mile sea journey from Africa, those that survive that is:(
Yep, desperate to get to the UK for benefits, just look at Calais:rolleyes:
Funny how so many Muslims leave their home countries because of the appaling conditions and strife then seek to insert the very same culture into the country that gives them succour.
