Ive spent 8 years running forums. The biggest one is international, and attracts people with an interest in true crime, underworld and gangsters. Can you imagine how many of them ****wits ive had to endure. I must say i made some good friends, and still have them, but as forums go i reckon on the whole its certainly the best of its kind on the net today.
Now if you want anal retentive mate, you should try the caravan forums. I wont be unfair and name them on here, but one im on i cant even begin to express an opinion of anything slightly out of favour, cuz they all attack with their handbags and umbrellas. It reminds me of that character Kenny Everett used to do, the righteous guy in the bowler hat and suit, but when he turned round he was wearing suspenders with the back of his suit cut out.
There is another Land Rover forum, and some members from here are on it. As a source of info its good, but again very anal.
This one is a good laugh, i enjoy it immensely.
But you have to remember one thing. On the whole, moderators are usually stuck right up themselves, its a power thing. And ive seen loads on a power trip cuz they can ban or remove someone. Bullied at school springs to mind.
