To be fair you stuck it out for a fair old while, my keyboard went south almost as soon as I cheekily slated you for dragging on with it,

I had to do a bit of research into all the new mumble jumble pooter stuff, they are so expensive for a decent spec one.

The only reason I kept it was cause im a tight ass.

Lot of money for anything that isn't tinny, and has a decent size screen.

At the moment, I am still managing to keep my 20 year old Acer going. Replacement with something of the same quality would cost 500 quid plus. Or there is all kinds of touch screen crap, but my fingers are too old and sore for tapping.

Yes I know but it was taking longer to start up & the battery was lasting around an hour think it was 6 years old iirc
time for an upgrade anyhoo.

I didnt go for a touch screen with my greasy paws it would be ruined in no time, I got a MSI with 17" screen windows 11
it has voice typing wont be much good after a few rums haha

I hate touch screens. They don't seem to work for me, sometimes have to tap the ones at self service checkouts half a dozen times. I don't know if it is because my hands are so cold, the grease on my fingers, or not enough electricity in my body.
