Flashy Indicators

Hiya,
Got a problem with my series 2 indicators. Please help, I want to get it MOT'd and back on the road. Left side, back and front, work fine. Right side double clicks, rear nice and bright, front dim (about 9volts getting through). Its a 24v vehicle but indicator circuits are 12v.
"Dodgy earth" I thought so I took a wire from the negative on the lamp back to the battery. l got a slower double click and its still dim.
Any ideas anyone?

High resistance in the live feed? you can check by by-passing from the live at the bulb to as far back on the circuit as you like with another length of wire and working your way forwards.

Or corrosion on the bulb contact.
