Hey all,

Looking for another little newby advice please.
I've just bought some rubber topped insulation for the back of the hardtop. Question is, should I fit it out with ply first or lay it straight onto the body?

Sounds daft I know....

Cheers,

Kev

Could do what I did - alllow for eventually wanting to remove it and fit it with snaps.

When i fitted the matting ot the cab on my 110, rather than screwing it in place in the main with self-tappers i fitted snaps to the floors and set the other halves to the carpet - it looks great and can be easily removed if need be.

In any case I wouldn't bother with ply - saw a Landy that has been done to and it looked really...horrid.

Worth thinking about Arj. Still, I thought decking it out in 12mm ply first then fitting the insulated rubber mats would have given it a better finish. Will have to reconsider..
Cheers.
