Just as a matter of interest, whereabouts on the engine were you thinking about to tap into for the oil pressure signal?
If I'm understanding the Demon Tweeks website correctly, they do a T piece that goes in to the oil filter housing where the pressure switch sits.

Yes it's best to put a tee in the oil pressure signal tapping and read what the pressure is there. That's what I intend to do with the electronic readout, but I have thought about reading the fuel pressure at the cylinder head instead of oil pressure, on the TD5 that is quite relevant.
 
Thanks gentlemen. A quick google reveals that there are a few people making an adapter too. On the TD5 it goes on that housing under the exhaust manifold so should be a fairly straightforward thing. That is of course apart from the usual Land Rover stuff, like whether there is room to get a spanner on, whether you can get the old one out without snapping it etc.

The job wouldn't be half the fun is something wasn't seized or snapped in the middle of the job :rolleyes:
