Fitting a radio

Why not try a frame-like metal and screw it to factory screw points then use the cage's tabs to fix radio? that way everything is reversible (saves on reselling value)
 
I am currently trying to adapt the heavy metal frame with mounting holes that was on the original radio.

I think I have found a way.

It involves a pneumatic drill, dynamite and lots of swearing, and half hundred weight of cement.
