First timer.

1983 series 3 109. First tme series rover owner. Reside in Virginia Beach Virginia. I'm sure like many, have been in love with there quirkiness half my life. This one was a former Bahrain defense vehicle. Has been sitting in storage in the state of Washington for 10 years. Going to be honest and disclose what I paid. 8K US. I'm sure I paid too much.

Welcome. That's a tidy looking LWB in very original condition. It's a civilian chassis so not military spec. The rear door is interesting, has three hinges rather than two suspect it's a very late S3 model which means it's close to the last of the production run. Side windows very original, you can buy the channel strip if they need repair. Good luck with the project, try to keep it original and it'll be reflected in the value. Diesel or petrol?

Regarding the price - then if your happy that's all that counts. welcome and you will find some great technical guys on here and certainly a whole like time of experience, along with some crazy banter but all is good. if you have red trousers you will fit in better!!

Petrol and keeping it original is my intention. You are correct with production timeline as this was delivered in November 83.
