I happen to like Freelanders. I'm taking her to Snowdonia in Wales some time in June/July to see how she handles the rough stuff. Green laning all day. I'm told that Freelanders aren't too bad off road, we'll see.

i've got a 2000 year freelander and i think is the dogsbollox. looks the part as well no problems yet(touch wood). so take no notice of them others who think their someone special cos they got a beat up old rangerover..
 
i've got a 1999 jaguar, a 1990 maserati, a 1995bmw and part rebuilt beat up old landrover. but then i've never had a liking for dogs bollocks , but if thats your thing enjoy them.

So. . . sorry bout that last thread, and apologies to my old Friend slob , who knows me from old, and i would never insult the tractor boys [they all know that] the forum police know that the ming has been hacked, and are trying to resolve the situation,so let me make it clear to all you freelander owners,that the tractor boys should not be sniffed at for driving at 40 mph on the motorway, they cannot afford to buy the type off motors that we are able to buy,wot with your heated leathers and air con,cruise control, no shame on you, just have a thought of days gone bye , when them tractors were the norm, so next time you overtake at 90mph ,just look at the face of that poor driver and wave at the pig in the back,[i like pigs ,there kinda cute] , so stop it now freelander people , have respect. . . the really real ming;)

:) hello , i originaly posted this thread.
and am now proud to bring everyone the good news.
i now know how to replace a cylender head gasket,a throttle body,propshaft intermediate support bearings,rear diff mounts,propshaft cv joint,heater selector cable,brake pipes and rear piston,none of this would have been possible without landrover,THANKS .crash course in machanics now complete(i hope).
next challange KNITTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :confused:

YOU DON'T GOT KNOW BRAINS IS WHAT YOU MEAN SLOBY. . .well you've pressed the ignore button ,for most of us freelander people, thats cos you can dish it out but cannot take it,so as we said before ya pervert ,we don't like you ,as you think your funny ,but your not your rude ,and we don't like the thought of younger members reading your bad language ,had Pm's from your own tractor forum, and most of them understand the difference b/tween a laugh and rudeness , your an embarrassment ,so go away . . . ming

here here! Sorry Ive been away guys. But with idiots like him it does spoil a good forum with mindless useless inuendo that is tiresome. Yes we all have problems with our landrovers but do we go on about the "others" NO... sorry a lost pun there.:(
 
On a serious note why havent any moderators picked up on this individuals 'STYLE' of posts.

On other boards shall we say, you wouldnt get away with posting continual garbage and using offensive language.

I think we all agree that we are here to help each other out where possible whatever the issue and dont need some idiot spoiling it for everyone.

i pulled a freelander out of a field to day and it had mud tyres on i only had my road tyres but thought wat the hell give it a go i did not have any problems at all pulled him out turned around and showed him how its realy done

I totally agree ,when you sign up to this forum you agree to a statement as to not write any bad language ,well the slob is doing it on here all the time and ya just let him get away with it , whats going on, i think a lot of people don't bother coming back , after seeing the abuse. . .sort it out, ming
