Some quick checks you can make yourself.
1. Check for 5V or so at each Sensor plug (upstream).
2. Check for at least >1K Ohms across the sensor itself, not 0 ohms and not open circuit.

I have had a repeat fault on my 4.6 Thor 2000 Rangie where each time it has been the same ABS sensor goes Kaput.
Always goes Open-Circuit, and the fault shows as ABS & Traction Control Lights on the dash and "ABS Sensor Short to another in Nanocom.
Each time replacing the 1 sensor (OSF) has fixed my issue (it always goes open-circuit).

Hope this helps.

Thats great advice Dan, thanks very much for sharing the experience and knowledge, much appreciated.

does your abs trigger randomly like you're on slippy surface? Could have a broken reluctor ring like i currently have
Hi mate, no, never. If the ABS/traction lights are on they’re on from start up. This might happen a handful of times, repeatedly, then for days it’s fine and as soon as you move off and exceed c.5mph the ABS light goes out as it should. Sometimes the handbrake light stays on for a few seconds too.

How many presses of the pedal does it take before the pump starts to run? Not sure why you'd have a relay related error unless historical
Just a couple of presses I think, but I’ll check this out later. The relay error probably is historical to be honest. None of the parts are expensive so I intended to replace the front sensors and the relay.

The ABS ECU does a self test on startup which is how the dash light can be intermittent. Fix the fault and the codes will go away.
Your accumulator will need replacing soon, you should get 4 presses. Eventually it will go down to every press and be a strain on the pump
