Anyone had this happen to their belts? bit of an issue as it's snapped the alternator mount on the top clean off! 
Any advice on what the alternator is connected to? May need a new piece where the alternator is mounted, or all else fails it's a welding job.
Disco 200tdi engine in my Defender. The engine still runs, managed to get it to work, although thought the Temp gauge was gonna explode as it was showing that hot. started up after turning it off too.
