I had very good results with this as well but it took a good few coats to get an even finsh.
Nice results on the faded door handles.

Just finished mine, 4 coats required, but it does look good. Cloth definately the way to go. Despite careful masking I still had to wipe mess of the paint. Probably best done if grill is removed. Really good product.
