Proximity sensors to check that the wheels are still on maybe......, :;
I'd find one those useful!!!

Hi all
Yes another EAS question! This time though, i have a working system but wondering if anyone knows how to fool the EAS into putting the vehicle into extended height mode for a short period. I off-road and sometimes you need it even when not grounded out.
Also, I want to add a pressure gauge in-line somewhere so I can see how the system pressure is doing and an indicator light to identify if the compressor is running or stopped due to thermal cut out. Any advice where to do that please?
Thanks

I find the biggest height problems I have are due to grounding the Diff rather than the body - but got rock sliders fitted which have proved their worth on some rocky lanes. Just out of curiosity, when do you feel the urge for extended height?
Got a pressure guage on mine. Think I got it from Activ-Air.
A guy on here put an LED to show when the EAS pump was running. I hear mine running!
One of the reasons I'd like to visually see the compressor and pressure is that during long periods of off-roading I find the suspension can't keep up. I have no leaks, but have changed the compressor this week to see if that makes any difference. The one on there didn't really suck hard on the intake whereas the new one will pull the skin off my finger!
The new pump is noisier than the previous. I can hear it run for a few seconds every 20 seconds or so. Is that normal?
Why didn't you say that in your first post, would have saved all the p1ss taking. All that original material wasted. Thanks all for the "interesting and humorous" responses.
I use my P38 for RTV trials and sometimes you know you will be grounding out (e.g. breakover angle of a hill or mound), so the need to get to extended mode before it happens is important. The rules of the competition do not allow time for the vehicle to figure out it's stuck and pump up the suspension even more.
No, never drops even if left for weeks. You probably need one of the EAS experts like @Datatek to give you the definitive low down - but I think you have a problem if your pump is running every 20 seconds. Once it has reached its ride height it shod stay there. Does it drop when parked overnight?

Where's the fun in that! Why didn't you say that in your first post, would have saved all the p1ss taking. All that original material wasted.

I probably ought to update my profile - still shows my D1 that I moved on 8 years ago!
Oxford blue P38. Reg ends PPU.What are you doing it in now? (Apart from P38..) I have just been watching some RTV trials and wondered if I have just been watching you at play.
Thanks, I'll check it out. I take it NRV 1 is somewhere in the valve block by the compressor? No that is not normal. More than likely NRV 1 is leaking. You have a pressure storage leak.
I must admit, i'm looking at my TruckAir compressor and thinking sistering it into the system somewhere might be advantageous!Somebody here fitted a gigantic compressor about a year ago?
agree though that something needs fixing rather than going around the problem.
NRVs are hard to come by but Kurt has them.
