reet lads - fitted breeva extensions to my noo motor - but it dont have no snork - so wotcha suggest i do wiv the bit that would normally go up and into a snork? Is it ok to leave it at the top of the injun bay?

This very morning I fitted 2 breather extentions to the front timing cover and the flywheel housing using part of a 'fleabay' kit (bright blue pipes) I just tied them neatly and ran them up to meet up near to the 2 original breathers (black shepherds crook lookin). I coiled an extra metre on both and secured them at the top of the engine bay.
I figure if the water gets that far up I will be at least bollocks deep... I would call that swimming not wading.
I left the extra tubing in case I decide to get a snorkel.... The tubing can be linked with the T fittings so just 2 tubes can be fed through and up the outside of the snorkel and neatly tied and looped at the top pointing down.... like the 'shepherds crook' to prevent water and crap getting in.
From what I have read and a 'Safari Snorkel fitting' video I watched.... seems the tubing goes on the outside. I will not be using blue... would get a couple of metres of black to finish off.

you dont need breathers i went this deep so thought i best change the oils cause there might me water in them but not a drop

you dont want breather extensions there! - they are drain holes! - you just need to blank them off whilst wading and leave them open at other times - how is the muck gonna drain away with tubes attached?

I ask myself the same question. I seen these kits on ebay to. The timing cover is a replacement item with a breather attached, but I have not done mine. The original breathers end on the bulkhead in the engine bay so I would put them there.
