Hello All!
Drove a 300tdi Hi Cap 110 up from Dundee yesterday, about 100 miles. Bought it off of some tree surgeons on a muddy back road, and didn't get a chance to check underneath. This morning I got under there and there's a big hole in the mid box of the exhaust, right across the "Britpart" logo.
Is this a home swap or should I take it to a garage with a lift? I have a decent chap who does the MOTs of the family vehicles.
Which parts manufacturer should I use?
Should I get it in stainless?
p.s first post, 4th landy in family, learned to drive in a first gen county, previous landy was a Puma 110 which was in an accident which killed it and an 80s John Deere but didn't hurt anyone else. Thanks!
