my new to me 110 is putting exhaust fumes into the cabin ... like quite alot...

the end of the exhaust system is missing (last 1' 1/2 or so). Is this sufficient do you think for the air currents around the vehicle to whip it around and into the cab?

Its not exactly "sealed" up tight around it... plenty of holes and damaged seals on the doors etc.

Pondering if it needs that last bit of exhaust to get it away from the body to stop this occuring.

Got a right headache the other day from it

This happened to my disco, rear box fell off and in the couple of weeks I didn't have it I could smell it quite a bit. Once replaced the smell was gone. sounded good though!!

I will get a new one on.

Though you just know as soon as you touch the exhaust system the rest will fall to bits...

Is this a cry for help vils? You're not trying to off yourself are you? don't do it mate!! :p

lol of all the ways to top yersen'. Doing so with exhaust fumes sounds a rather crap way to go.

Im more worried for when the kids are in the car. Dont want their little lungs suffering :(

:( is it your 110 or S's?

How much more you got to do on it? Apart from this issue?

1) remove the roof this weekend
2) freeze to death and be miserable in the rain all week
3) probably refit the roof having realised what a spaz ive been

oh and some steps - its on 35 x 12.50s and watching samin trying to get in it is somewhat amusing.

New RTC steering damper on it tonight to help sort the handling problems because of the daft big tyres

new speedo cable to be fitted

Thats it really

Ahhh cool! Are you still painting it for her? And don't make fun of the little people... I realised at the weekend I can't reach the middle of the bonnet or about 80% of the windscreen so I have a 3/4 clean defender

Will message you later on FB anyway... Getting glared at by boss people. :fighting2:

oh tut tut

we will paint it later, got some dints to sort out with the plenisher etc but thats just by the by.

Cant wait to have the roof off. Scotland and the lake district (where itll be driven 99% of the time) perfect open top motoring country!
