I wonder if someone can help - I have no issue with a car, but I noticed there is an permanent DTC from BCM about Central Configuration.
Looking at CCF sessions, I was working on GWM CCF all the time and I can see BCM has `Vehicle backup module` No data available.
I can't get answer anywhere so I am desperate to ask everywhere I can. My assumption is I have to synchronise my GWM CCF with BCM, the only option I can think of is `New Module configure - BCM` - I already tried Configure existing module but that didn't change anything. I am trying to be cautious when playing with BCM.
can someone please advice

Hi there, new here, looking for some help with changing the CCF file on my Disco 4. It's a case of changing the audio to the premium sound setting for the surround sound. Before I go down the road of buying a laptop/software to do this myself, I wondered if anybody would be able to give me a hand doiing this, as I don't have the experience/knowlegde or the equipment to do it myself.

I'm happy to travel, and pay to get this done. This is my first experience with Land Rovers after 30 years of owning Jaguars. I love my Disco, and have changed all the speakers from the standard to the Auto-Biography versions. Getting the amplifier in surround sound mode is the last hurdle I'm struggling with.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, including advice on the equipment/software to do this myself. I am based in the County Durham area, and distance is not a problem.

Thanks,
Andrew.

I'm in big trouble o_O can someone help me recover (maybe remotly) from bad configuration update?

Sorry, I'm panicking a little. Yes, I followed the prompts and had the battery charger connected, but something went very wrong—I think my battery might be dead because the voltage dropped too low. I already ordered a new battery and a proper 40-amp charger to fix this.

This happened while I was trying to change the configuration to remove TPMS. Now, I'm getting a response from the ECU and can run a scan, but one module shows up as 'undefined'—I think it might need reprogramming. I don’t want to make things worse...

I’m willing to pay for help if someone can guide me through fixing this properly. :(

See what happens when you fit a new battery. Make sure you fully charge it before fitting.
Does the charger have a' power source' or 'garage' mode? On a regular charge cycle the voltage can drop

I have bought this one: Amazon product

will that be enough?

from experience, it helps if you turn everything off before you start.. hevac, radio etc. i also unplug the glowplug modules on mine to stop that drain when you turn the ignition on.
make sure the battery is fully charged (overnight) before you start, if you've a later car with smart alternator then that wont fully charge the battery, by design

Hi All, I've been scratching my head on this one for a week or so and this thread is the best one that I've seen so far with discussions about the SDD software so I signed up, thanks :)

I have a 2010 5.0 S/C and I'm using SDD 167.
My old Park Assist Module (PAM) got soaked and died, SDD couldn't read it.
I bought a used L322 version with the exact same part number - AH42-15K866-BE and have just fitted it to the car.
SDD can now see the module, but it's not operational and SDD has only one DTC for it - that the VIN number is wrong.
I've tried SDD configuring the unit but the SDD routine says the VIN can't be changed with that routine.
I've also run the SDD diagnostic self test on the PAM and it works OK according to that.

Is there some other way to over write the VIN in the PAM so it will start working?

Thanks for any advice.

I might be wrong but to change the vin i think you'll have to send it away to either have it cloned to the old one, or virginised, then you can go through 'add new module'. Like i said I'm no expert so could be wrong
