does anyone know what the 'closed till further notice' is all about on the essex offroad website? i thought they were an all year round site. it used to be when i had my old disco a couple of years ago. hope someone has an answer it's a good site.

dug a bit deeper today and it is closed no more pay and play days. a real shame used to like it there. a council issue i have been told. gutted just down the road as well

I heard that they found diesel in the stream at the bottom, and that's what they were shut down for.
Whether this is true or not , I don't know.

I've been keeping an eye on there web site to see when the next p&p is
But if that's the case then I guess I won't be going there again

I heard the same about diesel in a lake or something. Shame cod I been told it was good there but been shut since I got our disco on the road.
Looks like I'll be sticking to bures near Sudbury. There first one of the winter is need Sunday (26th oct)
