Removed the ACE system from the TD5 disco today. Nice and easy! Slip the belt off, change the pulley and removed old bottle and replace with a PAS bottle from another TD5 without ACE

Replace belt with non ACE model belt.

Just got to plug into IDS to tell the ECU that it doesn't have ACE now - that'll stop the light and binging noise and then swap the roll bars for normal ones from a non ACE model.

Reason why I done it? A small leak on one of the solid pipes running underneath. These are over £80 each! To remove the whole system - £80! The difference is hardly noticeable so worthwhile IMO

Anyone got any suggestions for a price to sell my Disco at?
Gonna get the wax oiling finished inside and out then sell it of either a set of 255/70 AT's or 35 MT's.
Struggling to find matching trucks to compare prices.

Old man has had three over the years, his last, a 05 WRX Prodrive wagon was lovely.
Just gotta sell the Disco and Astra first.

If your worried don't go through the muddy water, make sure your motor is greased up properly and give it a pressure wash afterwards.
