Nice & shiny.

Any of you boyz got a metal suppier near you.
I'm after making my own 2" lift spacers, I've got all the machines at work to make them just need the metal.
4" dia(100mm)x 180mm Aluminium

Got an ebay link for them lol.

Well confermed oil pressure today. Should run between 25 and 55psi when warm. Mines running 14.
Looks like new cam belt kit and oil pump need to be fitted before I take it out again. Also with everything else.

I personally would make them from steel. No reactions between the metals or soft metals rubbing on hard, etc...

That's no problem Ian, I hope that it was all the info that you need, As far as the SWR Meter goes, you can leave one in, but there is no need, I have left my Patch Lead in place so I can just pug the meter in from time to time with out the hassle of getting to the back of the rig.

if you got any more questions just ask mate.

I got a set of 2" lift blocks that came off my disco, used them for about 6 months if your interested?

Sounds good to me. Cheers. Why did you take them off, did you get a lift kit.

I just got a lift in the end, was going to put the blocks back in after it, and do some more work , but now decided to do a body lift, so to keep the CofG down a bit more, but still try to get more entry and departure angle.

All I want for them is a drink or two.

Cool, put my name on them.
Did think about a lift 3 years ago when i changed it all.
Nows the time to fit bigger tyres & a lift

Quick question,

does cable length affect CB set up?

i currently have a 10 m cable bunched up underneath the headlining, will this affect the actual function of the CB?
