lol that mosquito would run circles round ur Triumph Daytona 995i :mooning:

yeah any light bike with narrow tyres, will tip in quicker then a bigger heveier bike, i used to love throwing my little GS125, ER50 -(with a 100cc engine in) GPZ305 around the country lanes, .............and a few others right up to ZZR1100 and a ZX12-R.

Give it a couple of miles and it would over heat..... Many of the used to, and probably still do...... I had loads of mates with them. in their time fast bikes for what they were, but give me a 4 stroke any day.

Yes fair point stu
yes i have also done all that gixier 1000 , R1 cbr1000, blackbird , zzr1100, even old exups
on todays roads just found they where to manic and had to be there 15 mins before you set off and went everywhere flat out so gave it up a few years back and went back to old classic to restore in the winter months , good fun but as you rightly say 4 strokes are a far better engine

I'm selling as I've only used it on one off road track day this year. Would rather use the money to do my restricted bike licence and get an old VFR 400 or CBR 600 to tinker with till the spring.

Erm this threads only about Essex lanes stu?

I agree with Brian, some pretty uncalled for replies! Except how Brian gets stuck on a molehill, they're definitely called for!
This thread has been used to chat for ages, let's just accept as much!

I have been looking at Scooby seats for mine as they are pretty cheap :D that or RS Turbo Recaros

My Landy was a Cat D - As long as its been repaired properly then it should be ok :) At the end of the day you are only going to trash it down some lanes :D

Very nice George :)

I've just ordered the last bits that I think I need for the chassis swap. Got radius arm and trailing arm to chassis bushes and various bolts.

Also got brake pads and fitting kits for front and rear. A roll of brake line. Various unions. Flaring tool, pipe cutter and other bits. More ATF for the power steering, dot 4 for the brakes.

Just now starting to pile everything up ready for the weekend.

Oh and a pic for all of you who aren't interested :D

I agree its about all of us, and what we do...... sometimes a very small amouont of searching can find the same answers that others have already asked many many times before, and they will be the same answers that will be given no matter what area of the country you are.

A bit of banter does help thngs along, and i am glad its on this thread, I dont know about you but I am not to lazy to do a serach for answers first, then ask the questions if I can t find the answer, of cause unless that subject comes up in descussion at that perticular time.

I will try and find the list i made but if i cant find it do you remember how many you all requested? I will be back on weds 12th october for 4 days but may be away again after that I can't tell at this time. We can organise picking them up later though...

Maybe we could try and arrange a joint day out on the Essex / Herts border and sort them out then.
About time we gave Violets lane a go :crazy_driver:

There is a load of lanes around little hadham, keep seeing the byways as I drive around the back lanes to avoid those 4 way traffic lights at Little hadham. Normally in the company car so havent ventured down them yet.....
