Hi everyone, my 1996ish Disco V8 been being a bit of a pain lately. Of course - some bits are 1995, others 1996, still more seem to have been whatever was lying around the factory at the time! It only really gets used as a tow-car for horse trailer but until recently has been very well behaved.
Have recently got it back after a lot of hassle locating an intermittently faulty fuel pump(?) relay - since then, it has been passive rearming the immobiliser. Anyway, sometimes the keyfob didn't work to open the doors but it seemed better if I opened up the fob and squeezed the battery a bit. Thought it must be a dodgy battery so got some nice new ones and just replaced it.
None of the turning the ignition key etc etc, pressing the button 4 times etc.. oops!
OK - so does it really matter?
where should the eka code be - on a card in the handbook (I hope!)??
how do I reset everything (assuming the keyfob is actually working ok)
errr.. any other useful advice for a rather clueless (but keen to learn) female.
