engine switch to 2.8 Mitsubishi

Hi

I want to change my engine on my Defender 90 to a 4M40 2.8l Mitsubishi.
Does anybody know what Land Rover gearbox will fit that engine and what other changes have to be done?

I don't think you will get one that will bolt right on, you will need to get a bellhousing to suit the 2.8.

Yes i thought that !
But the main important is the primary input shaft that has to fit.
