engine mounts

hi all.
bit of a daft question
just got myself a 300 defender engine
wanting to fit it into my 110, take 200tdi disco engine out for 109

now then do I need to change engine mounts in my 110 for 300 tdi ones or can I use the ones off the 200 engine

any help advise please

I just replaced my 19j with a 300 Tdi Disco engine .. I believe the 19j mounts are similar to 200Tdi. All we needed to do was make a drivers side mount, few welded bits of plate, and used the passenger side as it is. Simple. Mind, we did have to make a downpipe for the exhaust ..

Actually, I might still have the 300 Tdi mounts, I'd guess they might bolt on, or can be made to fit with a saw and welder .. I'll have a look over the weekend.

Im just about to do the exact same with mine Dave. Ive just bought new mounts as there was a cheap set on ebay
