engine cut out

hi, can anyone explain the reason my freelander cuts out after about 15 miles from cold, then it starts straight away then does the same after approx 5 miles, there are no strange engine noises, thanks jason

You should probably try asking in the Freelander forum - over here in Series world we dont understand these modern toys with their computers and power steering...

how does it cut out does it just stop dead or does it loose power then stop?

just cuts straight out, then starts up straight away.

immobilizerization or its just a gaylander, replace the <insert part here> with a <insert part from a series landrover here> and that will sort your problem

try taking your head out of there and sticking it in there.

Ooooo la-de-da someone cant take a joke, just because you have a 1.8 Kseries engine no need to get a strop on (leave that for towing yer gaylander home)

Sorry I aint been about much last couple of days been quite busy, had a wedding to go to saturday all day. Spent most of yesterday getting ready for the big scotland trip.

Ain't bin aboot masel' much either, just a quick nip in and then oot again. Saturday was a wash oot for me too, got a bit hammered, tried mashin the keyboard a bit, fell asleep at the computer and got an earfull from the wife Aye, it'll no be long now 'til yer passin by
