I had similar last year with some new parts. They were fitted by a specialist who advised they were faulty. The specialist then fitted parts from their own stock and all well. In the meantime, I returned the original parts to the supplier who tested them and said no fault. Luckily they are refunding out of goodwill (this week) but it's taken a while to get my money back. I wouldn't of expected a refund without sending the parts back however.
Edited to add - my advice would be send the parts back with a letter politely explaining the situation. Most places want repeat custom so they should refund you. It's annoying as you have the garage on one side and the parts supplier on the other and you're stuck in the middle.
