Disco 1 Electrics - accessory no power

Hi,

I'm having some problems with additional accessories that draw power.

I bought THIS from ebay.

If I run it from the sidelight circuit it powers on no problem, but i want it to power on with ignition.

I moved all of the wiring to the live for the radio, which turns on with the ignition - but it won't power on from this circuit. I tested with the mulimeter and power is getting to it.

Also, if i run a live feed directly off of the battery and earth it on a bolt in the car it doesn't turn on. Running a LED power strip the same way works.

What am I missing here? I've never had problems like this before.

I thought that, but it powers off of the sidelight circuit and works perfectly from there.

Kind of stumped...

Then the earth could be your problem!
