Hello, I'm looking for some help. I've a 2011 freelander. Coolant was low so I topped it up but it turned out there was a leak and it was coming back out almost straight away. Took to a local garage and I've been told the EGR cooler needs replacing. For parts its going to be about £350 + VAT and labour about £700 as it will take a full day. Wondering if anyone could gove some steer on whether this sounds about right?

Thanks

It's about a 3hr job as it is at the back of the engine and the coolant needs refilling, making sure there are no airlocks. The part is about £300 +vat, but can be found for less. They are also on that well known auction site second hand for about £30. ;)

Thank you! A full days labour sounds a bit over the top so...
