Hi all,

TLDR; Engine is lumpy on idle, pulled injectors, cleaned high pressure fuel rail switch etc etc

I am wondering if putting my EGR back may help as I do not recall this lumpy idle when I had it fitted, and I know there has been more recent discoveries with how the ECU handles not having EGR etc.

Thing is I cannot find a replacement coolant hose for the EGR Cooler ( two different sizes both ends) wondering if it would be okay to run the EGR without the EGR cooler receiving coolant?

Also if anyone does have the part number for that dreaded hose please let me know.

Thanks
Brad

You can't use a cooler, if there's no coolant flowing through it, or it'll overheat and crack, or melt something nearby.
I can't help with the hose though, but removing the hoses isn't necessary to blank the EGR.

Hi Nodge,

It's BMW 1153779123601 - I can only find two for sale from Spain at like £47 including shipping, madness!

Yes will remove EGR vaccum pump for now till I get the cooler plumbed.-
