Last day. Might go to the coast again. Planning to revisit the lanes from the last lakes trip as we'll. parkamoor grizedale and loads of others

I'm having a fantastic time with some great people. Loads pics and videos been taken to load later.

Well done all !! Much repairs going to be needed ???

I have had to put a new power steering belt on and broken my cb mike Zip has lost the back of his exhaust and the back door has tape. Think that's about it so far

Of course today is still to come and plenty of potential for damage on the lanes we are doing

I have the dreaded three amigos... getting the codes read tomorrow.might be an ABS sensor or hopefully not the ABS pump... oh well at least the spigot rotates easy enough on top of the transfer box so I think I'd got a difflock. Only drawback is getting underneath with a 10 mil spanner. :(

recomend getting codes read from at least 2 different sources, as difffernt readers can throw different codes up.
common faults are front nearside hub assy (dunno why its allus front nearside?) and modulator shuttle valve. had readers give both of these independantly on same fault.

N/S front hub has just been swapped recently by us (you) at the busy workshop meet:) If so, then I have a new front hub waiting :D

Going to have a look at the hubs today - wobble wheels, check sensor still bolted in etc.

Oh, and I've given Sue the old fuel pump and your vinyl stickers on the premise that shee will see you before I do.

not beyond possibility that its the new hub, tho with the amount of play in the original I'm surprised that didn't bring the lights on!

cheers for the pump and stickers!

I'm back, Cheers to everyone involved, pics will follow when I'm less knackered.

Driven 638 miles in total, lost the back end of the exhaust, had to be recovered from 2 ditches which I drove into for some bizarre reason and managed to obliterate a wall on a tarmac road - other than that, survived unscathed

I'm home as well

Got stuck for the first time ever (thanks to Sarah for towing me out :D)

Tried two recoveries (Zip in ditches :D) and failed, more practice needed :D

Found some great new lanes

Had a great time with fantastic people and lots of vodka :D:D

Pics and videos might follow after coffee, but might have to wait till tomorrow

Pffft .. cut it down and make a side exit .. with no back box.

At least then you can't lose it .. ;)

LOL - the one that's on it at the moment is a 3 year old piece of Britpart swiss cheese, I could probably cut it down with a table knife ..... and it may not take kindly to the welder (especially if I'm operating it )

So, another piece of Britpart's finest is on its way which will hopefully do another 3 years.

Was tempted for a stainless one, but can buy 5 cheap ones for the same price which covers me for the next 15 years.

Heheheh, exactly why I bought a downpipe for my 90 .. small hole, got bigger and bigger as I welded it!! I couldn't believe it, no matter what the amperage or wire feed setting, the metal was so thin it just melted away!!

I came to the same conclusion .. time for a few pennies to be spent .. ;)

Once the exhaust is sorted, you can revert back to a fully functional rear door without the post-apocalyptic, radiation-sealed look :D

Now you have spoiled it :p:p

I told Neil his repair job last week had failed and we had to stick the Disco back together with tape :eek::D:D:D:D
