by the way,

i’ve got a few strops and shackles , will also be interesting to see what it’s like off road

I used to have a D3 2.7 TDV6 SE as my company car many moons ago, used to have to take it up on our land fill site in the middle of winter, it was an amazing piece of kit, loved it to death, wel, until redundancy actually, but that's a whole other story.

You won't be disappointed by it on or off road, very capable on standard road tyres TBH.

Reigate / Dorking / Guildford is the plan mate.Yep, more the merrier :)
Hi all, room for another? With life being as hectic it is at the moment I cannot promise but would love to join you if I can. Might bring Molly, an Australian Cattle Dog x Collie along too, she loves the Landy and the outdoors.
I've a 2.5 petrol so maybe water-averse! DB tow hitch, strop, couple of shackles; names Jon.

hi james , indeed that would be great and are fine with other dogs , when there’s bigger dogs i just keep the bichon on the lead and let my lab go and enjoy a good run with all the other dogs

adorable looking dogs there , thks ref the D3 , wish to see how the different systems work and how it reacts etc , have got a new set of cooper at3 on it , had series landies then a freelander and then onto this D3

will be nice not having the hippo and having some decent ground clearance for a change :D

Just dial in the terrain and it pretty much does it all for you, lifts the suspension low range in mud & ruts setting HDC the works.

My little dogs will love it, the bigger one is the puppy an the little one is a ball of attitude an barks a lot when she get excited, she's got her cow cushion in the center console and loves a ride out :)

thks and sounds good and will be interesting to see how it compares with my old hippo ;),

surprising the smaller the dog is the more attitude they have , lol , and indeed will be great for then to have a good run out ,

how many of us now plse , really looking forwards to this , also sound nice it won’t be like a pay and play site seeing we’ve all got decent motors

I'm Dave- although that's fairly self explanatory, I'm in a Defender 90 with a couple of mods, nothing major. I've a bit of recovery gear-strops and shackles and a farm jack with a top claw. I don't have a CB but will bring a walkie talkie. Like most of the rest of you I've a bit of work to do first- my exhaust snapped on the way back from Wales last weekend but will be sorted by 27th. I don't know any cafes near the start point but will do a bit of research and try to find something suitable unless someone knows of one already.

OK there is a Cafe called Rika's (riker's?) Near Dorking, looks like a good meeting point, popular with bikers and car clubs apparently.

hi mate

is this the cafe plse, if so i’m only 45 mins and 36 x miles away

http://rykas.co.uk/

see it says on there they can reserve parking spaces if there’s a group
