Have you adjusted the orientation of the height sensors themselves with the blocks in so they're not that far out?
The plug to the driver pack sometimes needs the pins nipping up.
Almost there perhaps, maybe, possibly? Coincidental that both right hand side front & rear are 6 pips ahead in the leveling up race. Thanks grrrrrr,
Ok, I got it to run with the diag on it!!!
I changed the USB port and Comms port and although it sat at motorway height by itself, I was allowed to tweek and let it sit and settle at normal height.
I ended up with...
FR 106
FL 100
RR 96
RL 90..
as bizarre as it is..... It seems a lot happier....
Fickle .... Much more polite than Fu**er...
Its all gone quiet for the moment so.... If it stays behaving it'll stay like that until better knowledge is shone uponAlmost there perhaps, maybe, possibly? Coincidental that both right hand side front & rear are 6 pips ahead in the leveling up race.
Can't you put the Missus on the "Down" side of the car and tell her ts her weight and she needs to go on a diet? Its all gone quiet for the moment so.... If it stays behaving it'll stay like that until better knowledge is shone upon
it!!!
Dude! She's lighter than me and shorter.....I'm only 70kgs...Can't you put the Missus on the "Down" side of the car and tell her ts her weight and she needs to go on a diet?
There are no springs The height sensors set the height and if working correctly the EAS will always try to compensate for weight distribution but with ignition off cannot raise a corner that is low when you stop although over time it will still level down.Mark - a smally thought on the difference. Don't you have a RHD car on LHD roads? Mine leans more there (or I'm a scaredy cat - not sure which!). I'm sure our springs are set up for RHD or after 20 years the springs have self adjusted to RHD cambers. I'm sure the wiser men will confirm or otherwise
If I drive into my drive way (LHS of the road coming down hill) and turn nose in and stop then my car leans to the rear right, every time. If I drive in going up hill it doesn't do it. If I reverse in it doesn't do it either - P38 fairy at work again I reckon
Thanks grrrrrr,

Oh yes - hahahaha what a pillock I am It was a late night and I was full of codeine (shut my self in a room and into the naughty corner)There are no springs The height sensors set the height and if working correctly the EAS will always try to compensate for weight distribution but with ignition off cannot raise a corner that is low when you stop although over time it will still level down.
If you mean standard height when you say normal, those bit counts are a little low for standard height. Looks more like motorway height. Maximum and minimum bit counts for front and rear at standard height are 95 to 150 front and 85 to 130 rear. FR 106 and FL 100 are far to close to minimum. You must do each height in turn setting bit counts minutely for each up or down adjustment then measuring the distance from centre of wheel to arch and adjusting as needed. THEN write to that height. Then do next height and so on. As for comments made about road camber by others. The car is set up on a level surface to be level. If the car is driven on a road either left side or right side with a 5 degree camber the car WILL lean 5 degrees to right or left as the case maybe. It will NOT level itself to account for the camber.
Damn, i am knocking the whiskey on the head and taking codeine from now oneWammers I was having a blonde moment mate . Suitably embarrassed to be honest
There are no springs .
Pedant. Perhaps next time you refer to springs you should make clear whether they are coiled wire or air filled bags. There are. They're just rubber and filled with air rather than coiled steel.
