Hi all,

It would appear that my EAS is not behaving. I noticed that in my short 1.5 mile journey to work that the level selector/indicator did not stop flashing. On the return journey it did, but as i parked i noticed that that drivers side was lower than the passenger side and that when i dropped it to access height, the drivers side hit the stops a good inch before the others.

After that it tried to lift the rear but never quite got there. I have no error conditions reported by the computer so i dont know where the best place to start might be, any pointers greatly appreciated:confused:

I would check for leaks first. If no leaks then the EAS pump.
.If you do not have any diagnostic tool available you can test the pump as follows.Start RR with all doors closed and foot brake not applied, select normal height. The RR should raise from access to normal height in < 20 seconds if Tank is full or < 10 minutes if tank is empty.Bear in mind that if the pump is u/s then it will not reach normal height and the EAS will go in to Fault mode if the pump runs long enough.
If it takes greater than the times above but does reach Normal height then your pump likely needs a new piston seal.

The EAS will also go into fault mode,if you drive long enough with the system trying to reach a new height.

Thank you, i have DL the software, should be able to make up a cable easy enough. I was wondering if it might take a bit of time for the system to work out if something was wrong, I shall take it for a run later and see.

Is the compressor piston pump an easy job, are parts readily available?

Many thanks
